With the festive season coming to a close, the decorations are being packed away into their boxes for another year, and the memories of sitting around the Christmas table stuffing our faces with turkey and mince pies are seeming to be further in the distance.
At Christmas time we’re all very good at decking the halls and dressing the table, however, as my philosophy goes, the ‘art of the table’ is a great thing – so maybe we should all pretend its always Christmas day – why not try to get your family and friends around the dinner table more often in 2014?
For me, Christmas is the time when, no matter where everyone is throughout the year in our busy lives, we all come together around the Christmas table to share great food and conversation. The table has always been at the heart of my design inspiration; creating pieces that encourage people to take the time to “lay the table” and create an environment where they can “share good food and conversation” has always been my aim. So lets kill the January blues with some table laying ideas and good design!
The ‘Azeite e vinho’ piece, includes the three small dishes – perfect for summer tapas style dining. The dishes go great with the a Wild Wine tray, as pictured above.
For Sara Page designs 2014 kicks off with the Top Drawer exhibition, Earls Court London 12-14 January. To see the full Sara Page collection with my new pieces for the New Year visit my stand (W39) at the Top Drawer exhibition in London.
Here is a small preview of what to expect at the exhibition – combining the new with the old to give your table a fresh but vintage look!

With Christmas just around the corner and the decorations going up, we are all getting ready for the big day. With a Christmas tipple in one hand and a mince pie in the other it has been the weekend most of us have put up the Christmas tree and adorned the house with tinsel and holly, to prepare for the big day.
For me, the importance of taking the time to lay the table has never been so true at Christmas – so in the spirit of Christmas I thought I would share a a couple of tips to really make your table and house extra festive for the big day, Sara Page style! Enjoy!
Tip 1: Berries to dress the table
Tip 2: Sara Page Christmas tree decorations
Tip 3: Cut-out Snowflakes
Keep your eyes peeled for 2014, when I will be exhibiting at Top Drawer and the Spring Fair. To see more of my designs and products take a look at my website here
